You only need a high school diploma or equivalent (or even some previous experience) if you want to work as an apprentice at one of these companies. You will also have to handle knives safely while working in a kitchen environment where there could be any number of sharp objects lying around.
Packers and General Production Workers
Packers and general production workers are in high demand. They work in factories, warehouses, and distribution centers where they pack or unpack products from boxes to pallets.
You must have a high school diploma or GED certificate. You also need to have at least one year of experience working with material handling equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and conveyors at a manufacturing facility with an ISO 9001 certification (or equivalent).
You will also need to pass an English test if you don’t speak English well enough to complete basic tasks at your job site like changing packaging materials or organizing paperwork related to your projects’ completion dates
